Fenugreek carrier oil is quite unique. It is viscous and upon initial application has a slightly greasy, velvet-soft feel. However, it is still quite nice on the skin. But as the minutes after application roll on, the soft, velvety feel settles into the skin, eliminating any greasy impression. Though fairly well-absorbed, it does leave a more noticeable texture on the skin than some of the more easily absorbent, lighter oils. However, it does so in a way that speaks to its skin-nourishing qualities. Its aroma is mapely, and that of the seeds it is pressed from. Strongly soothing and moisturizing. Susan Parker also notes that Fenugreek Oil may have a protective effect on the skin
